Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 August
The Cathedral, Cathedral Shop and Cathedral offices will be closed on these days due to essential works taking place across the site.
Worship will continue in the Harvard Chapel. Those wishing to attend worship on these days will be stewarded in and out of the services.
The Cathedral Cafe will be open from 9am to 4pm on these days.
