Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Wednesday 16 October
The Cathedral will be closed on this day due to the installation of Luke Jerram's Gaia. Services will take place in the Harvard Chapel. A member of staff will escort those wiching to attend servicces to and from the chapel.
The shop and cafe will be open as normal.
