Learning sessions run in the AM and PM on Tuesdays-Fridays subject to availability. We advise booking a term ahead of your visit as we get booked up quickly.
If you are ready to book, please send us a booking request email with the following information:
- School name and postcode
- Preferred dates (at least three and we will do our best to accomodate)
- Number of classes, number of students and year group
- Preference for AM, PM or both
- Requested trail and/or workshop
- Lead teacher name and contact details
- Any SEND needs/access requirement for your group
- What your students are studying that this visit will support or link to
We will be in touch as quickly as we can to confirm your booking.
All sessions last approximately 75 minutes.
AM sessions: 10.45-12.00 (arrival and welcome 10.30)
PM sessions: 13.00-14.15 (arrival and welcome 12.45)
If you are bringing two classes you need to book both AM and PM. Your classes will do a trail and a workshop in parallel swapping over either side of lunch.
If you wish to bring more than two classes you will need to visit across more than one day,
Prices for 2023-2024
Interactive Cathedral trails: £4.50 per pupil
Hands-on workshop: £4.50 per pupil
Interactive trail + workshop on the same day: £7.95 per pupil.
If you are booking for two classes to come together you need to do both a Cathedral trail and a workshop.
Lunchspace
Our lunchspace can be booked free of charge but is subject to availabity. We can sometimes offer the churchyard space for pre-booked school groups in fair weather. Again, this is subject to availability.
