Our Christmas Eve services

On Christmas Eve we mark the end of the season of Advent and enter the joyous season of Christmas.  All are welcome to join us at our services across the day.

9am | Morning Prayer

12.30pm | Midday Prayer

12.45pm | Lunchtime Eucharist

4pm | Crib Service 

Help us begin Christmas at a short, family-friendly service, with music led by the Cathedral’s Junior Choristers. Come dressed in character to help to tell the story, or come just as you are. You’ll be so very welcome!

5.30pm | Evening Prayer

10pm | The First Eucharist of Christmas 

The anticipation of Advent gives way to the celebration of Christmas at this first Eucharist of the season. The preacher for this service is The Bishop of Southwark, The Rt Rev'd Christopher Chessun.
