Occasionally access to the Cathedral may be restricted due to events taking place.
Southwark Cathedral is a busy working church, regularly hosting services and events. It may be neccessary to close all or part of the Cathedral to visitors to allow for these events to take place.
The Cathedral Shop and Cathedral Cafe will remain open during these times unless stated otherwise.
Wednesday 8 October
Access to certain areas of the Cathedral may be restricted across the day due to a clergy study day taking place across the building. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
Friday 10 October
The Nave of the Cathedral will be closed from 9.15-11am due to a school service taking place.
