Assistant Organist James Gough features in new recording.

Last month our Assistant Organist James Gough was recorded playing our magnificent Lewis organ in conjunction with Richard McVeigh and Beauty in Sound.

The video features views of the Cathedral you may never have seen before including details of the organ console. This new recording captures the organ and its sound in a way that has not been achieved before. The repertoire featured in the recording includes a premiere of David Bednall’s Fantasia on Thaxted, Reger’s monumental Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue in F minor, along with works by Bach, Boyce, and Vierne.
