Ecumenical Canon sets out his Manifesto for Hope

Last night (Thursday 18 April) one of our ecumenical canons, Steve Chalke, was in dialogue with the Dean about his new book: A Manifesto for Hope: Ten Principles for Transforming the Lives of Children and Young People.

Steve argued that many of our government-funded institutions are failing the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. At the same time, we are sidelining our greatest national asset: local people.
