History Showoff Comedy Evening

Comedy Heritage Special Event

Join us for an evening of hilarious nonsense about the past, with comedians, historians and archaeologists.

Dr Steve Cross returns to Southwark Cathedral for another History Showoff comedy evening where instead of talking about airline food and internet dating, it's the Tudors, the Victorians and World War 2 that are given some comedic attention.

History Showoff is the only comedy night where you can see historians explaining why Queen Victoria was really misunderstood, comedians claiming that Henry VIII was a role model we should all learn from and meet archaeologists who hate Tomb Raider.

Progamme of comedians coming soon!

This event will take place in the Cathedral Library and is for ages 16+ and refreshments will be available to purchase on the evening.
